the interdimensional travels of my phone (where did i put it again?)

I feel like I am in a constant state of losing my things. My keys, phone, subway card, homework, lipstick, pens/pencils, the list goes on and on... It so frustrating, I use these items every day. I would ideally like to know where they are.

One way I find works well to combat this is writing down EVERYTHING, reminders, events, due dates. If they are not written down, they are. not. happening.

Physical items, although they are real things, are somehow harder to keep track of. My house keys are usually in my possession for around 2 weeks, before deciding a trip to the void would be so much fun (hiding in my purse even though I check it 17 times). Or, take my phone. Am I on my phone way too much, and really want to spend less time on it? Yes, but I'd also like to not spend 5min looking for it every time I put it down.

There's a special place in my notebook, for things I consistently think "huh I should use (item)" and then realize I have no clue where it went, after my 20 min complete search of the house has uncovered nothing. I usually find everything eventually, its just a matter of time.
